Senior Financial Analyst

Position Summary:

The position will work with the operational distribution center facilities and IT group on all financial forecasts and budgets.  The position will assist in developing and maintaining the budget/forecast process and necessary reporting for both business areas.  The role will also provide ad hoc analysis and develop metric reporting.

Essential Position Responsibilities:

• Develop models and provide financial analysis and support for both the DC and IT business groups
• Help drive the monthly forecast and annual budget process from initial requirements to final presentation and approval
• Develop and maintain reporting to track capital and project tracking for the IT department
• Assist with the development of monthly variance analysis to be presented to brand management and the Executive Committee members 
• Assist in creating presentations for strategic meetings
• Perform ad hoc analysis as needed to understand business performance

Essential Requirements:

• Five (5) or more years of proven financial analysis experience, preferably in a corporate environment and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related area
• This person will have financial modeling skills, as well as strong analytical skills applied to business and financial data 
• A qualified candidate will be a proven team player who is highly organized and achievement oriented with the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment 
• Should have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• The candidate should have the ability to think out-of-the-box and have a desire to work in a new and exciting business
• Experience using PowerPoint and a strong background in Excel 
• MBA or CPA a plus
