Ecommerce Support Analyst

Position Summary: The Ecommerce Support Analyst is responsible for all aspects of Ecommerce applications support and troubleshooting. Works closely with business users to prioritize and resolve critical application and infrastructure issues. Identify and recommend solutions to proactively monitor application stability and performance. Work closely with third party solution providers to ensure timely resolution of priority issues as well as preventive maintenance and capacity planning.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for effective and timely resolution of critical system anomalies
  • Effective identification, communication and execution of escalation procedures
  • Executes application troubleshooting and fault isolation
  • Application issue/error resolution
  • Assists with Quality Assurance for pre and post system upgrades
  • Ensures proper systematic tracking of reported issues and resolution
  • Maintains productive relationships with third party solution providers
  • Ensures coverage and responses to automated monitoring systems
  • Ensures proper licensing and security compliance of applicable systems
  • Manages pro-active engagement with business users to understand relevant business challenges and proposed solutions
  • Participates in on-going 24x7 support rotation
  • Strong understanding of relevant business processes and applications
  • Exhibit professional conduct in all business relationships, actions and communications
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Essential Requirements

  • 3-5 years industry experience supporting Ecommerce within a multi-brand Direct Marketing/Catalog company and a 24x7 Ecommerce operation using one or more outsourced platform providers
  • This person will have a solid understanding of the various architectural components from Ecommerce Frontend to Middleware to Backend application systems
  • Will possess understanding of relevant technologies: HTML, CSS, HTTPS/Certificates, DNS, TCP/IP, Server Hardware, Firewalls/Load Balancers
