Senior Financial Analyst

Position Summary:
The position is in an exciting new group within Orchard Brands tasked to develop new business areas.  The position will be responsible for creating models and performing financial analysis on new products and services for the New Business Ventures team.  The role will develop and provide reporting on new initiatives and assist in the budget and forecast process. 

Essential Position Responsibilities:
·    Develop models and provide financial analysis and support on potential deals for New Business Ventures group
·    Help drive the monthly forecast and annual budget process from initial requirements to final presentation and approval
·    Work closely with business development, IT, and project managers to understand business model, implementation plan,
     and cash flow on new and existing deals
·    Assist in creating presentations for strategic meetings
·    Work in a entrepreneurial environment developing a new business model
·    Develop and maintain reporting to track and monitor new business performance and key financial metrics
·    Perform ad hoc analysis as needed to understand business performance

Essential Requirements:
A qualified candidate will have three (3) or more years of financial analysis experience, preferably in a corporate environment and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related area.  This person will have financial modeling skills, as well as strong analytical skills applied to business and financial data.  A qualified candidate will be a proven team player who is highly organized and achievement oriented with the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.  This person should have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.  The candidate should have the ability to think out-of-the-box and have a desire to work in a new and exciting business. This person must have experience using PowerPoint and a strong background in Excel.  MBA a plus.
